First Day Case Hip Replacement performed in a Scottish Circle Health Group Hospital

Mr Gavin Love is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kings Park Hospital, located in Stirling, who specialises in hip and knee arthroplasty surgery.

Recently, Mr Love completed the first day case hip replacement procedure at Kings Park Hospital – this is actually also the first to take place in any Scottish Circle Health Group hospital.

The hospital is delighted to be able to offer this unique service to their patients. Day case hip replacement surgery has numerous advantages including a reduced risk of infection and blood clots, as well as quicker rehab and recovery time.
